Creative encounters · Art Constellations

Creative Encounters is a project that fosters transdisciplinary artistic exploration through intimate encounters between creators from different parts of the world who have never met or worked together before. Each encounter gives rise to a unique and ephemeral constellation, where bodies, ideas, and sensibilities enter into dialogue to generate new forms of art and (co)creation. Like stars tracing a shared map, each artist contributes their light to reveal a collective narrative and a new creative universe.

Encounter I · Constellation of Fire and Water

This first encounter between dancer and performer Alaya Wolf and visual artist Marty Matthys emerged from an intense 24-hour creative experience. Through improvisation, the body became canvas and movement became trace, giving rise to living pieces of painting and movement where emotions enter into dialogue. An open process that continues to unfold beyond the time shared.

Encounter II · Body·Voice Witch Constellation

An intuitive encounter between Alaya Wolf (body) and Kreatress (voice), two artists who met for the first time during a residency in Mexico City and chose to enter into a creative dialogue without prior rehearsal. On the stage of Jazzatlán, their first performance took shape as an improvised ritual between dance and voice: the body as a channel of memory and the voice as invocation.

During a week of shared exploration, both artists wove a common language where the intuitive and the ancestral emerged as creative forces, giving rise to a performance that inhabits the territory between concert, trance, and staged act.
