Art Residencies

LabCultural hosts artistic residencies oriented towards research, exploration, and encounter, offering a carefully held space for processes of experimentation, creation, and mediation. Residencies are conceived as shared periods of work and co-living, where exchange between artists, the context, and everyday life becomes part of the creative process itself.

The space includes double rooms adapted for co-living, facilitating the stay of resident artists and supporting immersive and ongoing processes.

Residencias pasadas

Kreatress // Juan J. Ochoa // Mateo Kaskabell (2025)

Recently, LabCultural hosted a residency for three artists who did not know each other beforehand. The artists shared several days of sonic and visual exploration, opening an experimental dialogue to investigate common languages and weave new paths for collaboration.

Prepared piano, synthesizers, strings, ritual voices, and painting gave shape to a living laboratory, where creative research became the driving force of the encounter.

Ochoa & Miret (2024–2025)

LabCultural hosted Juan J. Ochoa and Miret in a residency programme that provided a working space, support, and moments of public sharing for the exploration and creation of sound, blending piano with electronic music. The process culminated in performative outcomes such as a mini-concert and the documented project Componiendo Blue.
